Arthroscopic Surgery

 

Dr. Waddell also offers his patients arthroscopic surgery when needed.

Arthroscopic surgery is commonly performed on the knee and sometimes performed on the hip.

Many patients present with pain that can be managed with a smaller surgery, through arthroscopic portals.  A torn medial or lateral meniscus is the most common reason for an arthroscopic knee surgery to be performed and a consultation with Dr. Waddell can determine if this is the right surgical intervention for you. As always, Dr. Waddell's goal is to avoid surgery when possible.  Sometimes, however, surgery is necessary to relieve pain and allow patients to return to their normal lifestyle.
